Extending Expiration Date
I have a coupon for a free flight (domestic) which expires end of April; what's the best way (without actually ticketing) for getting this extended for another year? Thanks for any and all suggestions and replies.

Be very careful, when sending things back to TWA.
I sent back two certificates to be extended per their instructions. They were sent certified return receipt requested. They were in fact received and signed for. After two months with no reply I began asking what was happening with them.
I was told, "sorry, we cannot find them and although you have proof that we signed for a package that you sent we dont have proof that you actually put anything in the envelope. As far as we are concerned we owe you nothing. Lost certificates cannot be reissued, be more careful next time."
They refused to do anything. Needless to say I have not flown on TWA since.

Unless TWA has announced they're willing to extend the expiration dates, I suspect your 4/30 award is (like mine) from when they changed mileage programs a year ago and otherwise cannot be extended.
However, if you choose your routing now, the ticket can be for anytime up to a year from now (i.e., 4/30/01), and dates/times (but not cities) can be changed any time.
