Another Texas Destination provides double miles

McALLEN, TEXAS, February 9, 1999 – Trans World Airlines, Inc. (AMEX: TWA) will launch daily direct service between the airline’s main domestic hub at Lambert/St. Louis International Airport, and McAllen, Texas, starting April 4th.

TWA Flight 130 will depart McAllen Miller International Airport daily at 8:20 a.m. and make a brief stop in Austin before continuing to St. Louis, arriving at 12:01 p.m. Return Flight 521 leaves Lambert Field at 5:15 p.m., stops briefly at Austin and arrives into McAllen at 9:05 p.m local time. TWA will operate DC-9 aircraft on the route.

TWA is offering a special Aviators frequent flyer promotion to celebrate the launch of service to TWA’s sixth new announced destination in the Lone Star State. From April 4th through May 31st, passengers who travel on TWA’s new service will receive double Aviators frequent flyer miles.
