Seems to be another much more meaningful benefit for Elite and Elite Plus.
Used to be: Free standard seat selection only for Turkish Airlines operated flights
Now: Free standard and prefered seat selection only for Turkish Airlines operated flights
Could anyone confirm if extra legroom seats are free for them?
Looks like it's just for the seats up front.

Sometime ago they changed their stupid system so I cannot buy anymore with a Non-Turkish credit card from Turkish Holidays anything. And it is killing me losing at least 15 000 miles in last 1 year alone...

that's strange because Turkish Holidays is marketed outside of Turkey - e.g. Germany.Originally Posted by burak25

No, not first rows. If you have noticed recently on an A350 for example, the first 10 or so rows of Economy now are marked as "preferred" seats, that is all. TK remains the only major airline that I know of that gauges their top tier customers for Emergency Exit and Bulkhead seats.

as I said - first rows / front rows of economy - except extra legroom seats (which is the very first row) as well as emergency exit and premium economy seating on the Turkoflot planes)Originally Posted by hfly

in each questionaire I get from TK regarding M&S they ask for desired additional perks for Elite/Elite Plus - I always check "free extra legroom seats" - but it seems these questionaires are just for fun

Check out SAS - now EBG has to pay for exit and bulkhead seats for intra-European flights.Originally Posted by hfly
