I booked r/t flight to Italy, back in December for an October trip. I have rec'd numerous flight change updates, some by several minutes and some by hours. My selected seat assignments paid for at the time of booking have never been affected, until yesterday. I
rec'd notification of a flight time change (back to what it originally was when I booked it). I rec'd an email stating that I would be credited $14 for seat one flight. I checked my trip info online and all of my seat selections have been removed. I tried calling Turkish Air twice for assistance, as I want to be sure I will be refunded for all of the 4 seats selected, before booking all over again. Frustrating that they removed them all which would make sense if the plane were different sizes, but they're the same. No refund showing up yet on my credit card. I could not get the agents to understand what I was asking.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so, I'd be so appreciative for advice.

I would send a feedback form and explain in a very short and simple manner what you want.

Primarily that they confirm your old seats without an additional charge. And if they cannot do that, reimburse the fees.

Leave out all the extras to make it easier for them to understand.

I agree. Try to explain the issue and what you want in short and very clear English (do keep in mind that the readers will not have English as first language and can easily misunderstand you).
