Wrong status on boarding pass
Hi,
i had a Elite Status Match a few weeks ago to Miles and smiles. After the upgrade I did my first international flight from ZRH-IST -CGK . I recognized after the check in that there was my TK number shown as classic member ( my status before the match) and not my Elite status .
Has anyone else the same issue ? Is it because im
still in the trial period of 4 months ?

The situation a common TK glitch.
The boarding pass would show your status when you have booked the flight, instead of your current status.
So, your status match should be unaffected.

Mistaken TK*S status on boarding passes
Different situation, same question as to wrong status.
I flew two short haul TK legs in Y yesterday, and both boarding passes had TK*S printed on them (at the bottom just above the ticket number).
Assume this means Star Alliance silver. I only started crediting miles to my TK M&S account few weeks ago and have around 17,000 status miles from two long haul and one short haul J (biz) flights on SQ/LH so am only a classic member not Classic Plus which would be Star Alliance Silver. So not sure why it’s showing this. Is there some special promotion or TK rule I don’t know about, or is this an error? (My M&S account definitely shows me as Classic). FYI I’m not a Turkey resident. Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same issue. I've held TK Elite status for a few years now (and through July 2020), but a new booking I made yesterday on United reflects only Star Alliance Silver (instead of Gold). Never had this problem in the past, so I'm interested to know whether anyone here has also run into it.
