TK availability on *A partners

Okay gang, here's a tough one. I am looking at a TK award flight DPS-IST that has space available on ExpertFlyer. It is showing up on TK, NH, A3 and OZ web sites but not available on UA, SQ and AV (Lifemiles). No availablity, like this flight doesn't exist (nothing in economy, nothing in business). Any wild guesses? New airport IST/ISL mixup although I can find other TK flights just fine on all programs?

Even called SQ to check and they didn't see the flight.

Any ideas?

Which date is the flight? Which FFP would you like to use for this award?

Say Aug 29, DPS-IST. There's space for 2 in business and confirmed by ExpertFlyer. Ideally I'd like to use SQ/LM, but both don't have the flight.

Trying to figure out why SQ/UA/LM don't see this flight... it's not a matter of availability, it just doesn't exist.

I also stumbled across the ridiculous 100k UA pricing when looking at a similar itinerary.

That is rather OT, but does remind us Europeans to treasure TK's 45K pricing for J, even if there are some surcharges to pay...

Hmm, I did try UA yesterday and couldn't find that availability for the date. I wouldn't be asking here if I could. Still doesn't explain why SQ don't see it.

You can easily lower the UA miles to IST to almost half, but I won't go in detail here.

(a rhetorical question)
Almost half as in 60K instead of 100K?

Keep in mind that it takes two to Tango.

TK may withhold award searts from SQ because they don't like the rate SQ would pay for them. And SQ may see but choose not to display TK award seats based on the cost of redemption that seat woud incur, or other factors.
