TK has shifted many transactions from Euro to USD to keep them healthy financially, but just doing it without any annoucnement? Pretty sneaky.
If you live in the US (or around Vancouver and Southern Ontario areas) it might even be cheaper to fly in J (UA calls it Domestic First) between certain city pairs. I just booked DTW - IAH - SEA in A

If I buy those miles from TK it will be almost $1000 USD. Instead I am paying $585 plus taking a trip to Seattle to get almost 9000 bonus and status miles.

I have M&S Credit Card. If I purchase some bonus miles from my bank account the cost is 40 Turkish Lira for 1,000 miles which is almost USD 13.
I'm seriously planning to buy 100K miles for future use just in case before they change the T&C after this "devaluation."

Yes, they did on the quiet, didn't they. Very sneaky.
