Aah. Wish they flew into SFO instead of LAX. With UA's SFO hub, it seems like it would provide for better connections unless they're betting on O&D traffic b/w IST and LAX.
LAX is an absolutely horrible airport and I hate to connect there. SFO is much better.
Of course, as a SFO based flyer I am biased.
The lack of a F cabin means that I will still probably pick LH/LX, but it's always good to have another option for times when award availability is poor. W. Coast - Europe already suffers from capacity constraints.

I'm suprised, and dissapointed TK are not planning on employing the new equipment on Sao Paulo. I've a flight booked for march so hopefully they will reconsider before then.

Here's one of the sources (in Portuguese only):

To sum it up, it says here that the Turkey-Brazil route will be one of the first routes to welcome the new 77W starting the 26th of December 2010.
Cheers!

A bit confusing with all these different long-haul C cabins.
777-300ER with “real” flat beds (latest cabin).
77W with herring bone layout “real” flat beds (Jet Airways).
A332 with sloping flat beds
A332 with regular seats (leased from BMI)
A333 with “real” flat beds (latest cabin)
A340 with sloping flat beds
A340 with regular seats (leased from Jamaican)
And the ones to be really afraid of would be TC-JIJ, TC-JIK and G-WWBM?
