Just wondering what their policy is for "non-registered" vehicles and plates.

I don't recall providing any credit card information besides the numbers to pay for the application?
Could you elaborate on that? |

I have not seen the TDC drop boxes at YUL. It would be smart if the TDC had a carbon copy to show at exit.

Interesting. I gave in to my anxieties and filed rush (5 day service guarantee) applications for long form birth certificates yesterday afternoon. Let's see if YYZ Nexus asks us for them.

I think there may be a disconnect in the systems between the CC you use on GEOS (or is it GOES?) and the CC on the TDC file.
You can also call in any changes to credit card numbers. I've got the number in the car (along with our TDC's) so will post that later. |

As long as you're not a Canadian driving a US plated car back into Canada! |
Was in YVR yesterday and saw notices on the Nexus machines that new cards will be issued with additional security features. I asked one of the Canadian agents as I left the immigration area and he said to just make sure your US or Canadian address is correct with them and you will be sent the new cards automatically. Anyone else seen this?

Well is it just me, or was anybody else surprised at how 'plain' the card was when they got it? I figured for something to do with DHS, it'd have a little more going on than a crappy font with some red lines, some blue lines, and an RFID chip embedded in it!
It's like a next-gen hockey rink!!!!!! |
The card stock was just basic blank unsecured card stock... It's done on a printer similar to what Costco uses to make their cards... So yes, they have a huge step to improve the cards.
Wonder if they will no longer issue the cards at the airport locations from then on. |
