Global Entry / NEXUS - Name Spelled Differently in Passports of Dual Citizen

Bumping this because I was wondering about how traveling with two passports and different spellings, but also having a KTN for NEXUS or Global Entry.

I know several people, for example, who are Saudi and American passport holders (most are US-born to Saudi parents) and their names are the same but have different spellings. They seem to be able to travel fluidly between Saudi Arabia and the US.

But I'm wondering if someone has GE or NEXUS, does it make a difference which name is used when buying a plane ticket to Saudi Arabia? I know that the flight info comes up on NEXUS/GE when returning to the US, and I'm wondering if the Saudi-passport spelling on the boarding pass would create any problems with using your US passport at the kiosk. Unless the airline enters one's US-passport spelling through APIS, would that solve the problem?

GE/NEXUS has no connection to the reservation, other than it populates the flight info. If the system doesnt detect you on a flight due to name, you simply enter the flight number at the kiosk. Otherwise the system only cares that inserted passport is linked to GE/NEXUS account.
