You might try Detroit--there's a Detroit city enrollment center which is open Monday through Saturday. I note that according to google maps Detroit is only about a 40 minutes longer drive than Gulfport. There's also one in Memphis which is only a 3 hour drive, but like Nashville, has limited hours. (My sister in the middle of NC drove to Atlanta for her interview.) Good luck! And the other advice to keep checking is good.

@aquamarinesteph....there is a 4 month wait for everything here. We are full. Too many people have come in the last 5 years....seriously over capacity in this city....

No argument there. We are SO over capacity that it's not even funny.

I submitted for my renewal last summer, and the wait at DFW was 4-5 months out, but I just kept checking back every day or two, and one morning I woke up and there was one at 10:30am that morning, so I grabbed it. People cancel appointments all the time, so you just have to keep checking back and you can grab one.
