Thanks! This makes me feel much better. Since I hear that TSA is so picky about how the names are spelled, etc., I was worried. It must not be a common problem since there are only two of us participating on this topic but I'm glad someone else had experienced it and it hasn't been an issue. Thanks again, katie!

So despite what they tell you about names having to match exactly, it doesn't!

When I renewed my passport I dropped my middle names as I never use them on tickets, anyway my TTP profile has them on and it won't let me remove them. I was going to visit an enrollment centre to get them to change it however I thought I would try the GE queue anyway and see what happens, I expected an error but nope works just fine so I haven't bothered removing it. Wasn't a fluke either, ive since been through 4 GE machines at various airports and they are all happy with my name mismatch

I apologize in advance if this was already answered,
I've always used just my middle initial. ( First name, middle initial,last name). Never my full middle name. Passport, Global Entry,Drivers license all just had my middle initial. When I recently renewed my drivers license they insisted I had to use my full middle name which is on my SS card.
I had my zoom interview with a customs agent last week for my GE renewal.
I showed him my passport and my drivers license. I received my new GE card yesterday and my full middle name is on it. It doesn't match my passport or my previous GE card. The PASSID numbers are the same as my previous card. Will I be okay with precheck and GE?
I know tickets have to match my passport name.
