Hey all, I like some advice on filling out the online application.
I have a middle name but in the US Passport, the name is listed after my first name.

I wrote it as my middle name during the initial page. But I’m asked on page 3 (proof of US citizenship) to fill out the passport information as it is in their sample photo.

if I follow the sample photo (area #2), I’ll need to write my middle name behind my first name.

this is conflicting. May someone kindly advise on how should I fill in the middle name?

thank you

I don't have access to the photos or format, but whenever I see a middle name field I just use that for my middle name. The passport name format just has a surname and given names. If there are only two fields, one for surname and one for given names, I would list the middle name after my first name. If there's a separate middle name field, I would put my middle name there. While I can't say for certain, it is possible that those fields get combined on the back end.

Thank you for the reply.

Im planning to submit the application but just wondering, since its Saturday and Labor Day is coming up, would it be better to submit the application on Tuesday?

Anybody have experience with submitting application on weekend? Does approval take longer?

I applied for my children during the weekend and got conditional approval on a Sunday morning.

After reading this and related threads for years, I haven't seen any correlation with application time (of day) and processing time.

Global Entry dual citizenship question - how to list HK Passport?

Hi all,

I hope someone is reading this thread because my last post received no responses. I tried to find an answer online but to no avail. I would like to ask dual US and HK Passport holders (or holders of HK passports) which option you chose during the GE application?

Hong Kong is not listed as a passport option under the add passport document section.

I did call CBP about which option to choose. The person on the phone said that its only required to add a passport if the person intends to use it to enter USA.

With that in mind, I want to ask:
  1. Is it required to add the HK Passport if one holds USA passport? CBP requires US citizens to always enter and exit using US Passport.
  2. If no to question 1, then how can applicant disclose dual citizenship? Is disclosure required? Theres no corresponding question on the GE application.
I hope some dual US and HK Passport holders can provide more feedback on this issue. Thanks.
