Thanks macabus - that makes me feel better.

By a mile I'm afraid to say. Not that there's anything wrong with the QF lounge but for me it lacked something......can't really put my finger on it though.

Must admit that worried me as well.
I would have much preferred the lunchtime flight to FRA rather than the overnight one we were shifted on to. TG do seem to have a habit of doing this so not everything at TG is great.

I don't normal read trip reports, but I quite enjoyed this for a couple of minutes. Have you been freed from your chores yet for the next one?

Another good one - really makes you see what the other carriers are like. In fact as much as I am loyal to BA - your report does make me want to try Thai First as the service appeared to be outstanding.

Thanks for sharing ^

I had missed this report, so was glad that you linked to it in your BA F/LH C report. I'm surprised that you hadn't had massage before. I think it is a great treat, especially traveling in Asia where it is often very well priced. Now that you have taken the plunge and found it pleasurable, perhaps you'll do it again. Try the foot massage - I generally walk out feeling as though I am floating on air.

I really liked reading about the entire TG experience, as I have yet to fly TG myself. I was going to ask what you thought about such open seats, then saw that gleff had commented on it. It seems very exposed to me, but you said you were content, so that's good.

HIDDY, this was a fantastic report on TG F... I've heard varying reports on their consistency but it looks like you got them on a good day. Thanks so much for sharing!

I have finally booked a Thai First trip from BKK-HKG on the A380. This trip report was the reason I did - amazing after all this time! This report left a lasting memory for me and when given the choice I decided to go for the Thai experience. I am trying EK A380 First the other way but purposely chose this at BKK for the ground experience.

Thanks again Hiddy ^

Great TR

Thank's for the great TR. I just enjoyed Thai C on the 744 last week for the first time, and really liked it. It got me tempted to try their F product too!

Thanks again!

My dear girl....you're not allowed to resurrect the dead. However, now you have I'd like to say I hope you enjoy your Thai experience. Make sure to do a trip report on it with lots of pictures please......and don't blame me if it turns out to be rubbish.

Great TR! I'll be doing FRA-BKK-DPS in May in TG F/C (on the 388 for FRA-BKK if they don't swap AC on us) and hope we get similar ground services... In any case, this TR has certainly wet my appetite for the trip! Very nicely written and great pics...
