SWISS New First Class JFK-ZRH (Pictures)

Recently flew on LX from JFK to ZRH. Thought these pictures would be appreciated.

What is your opinion of LX F? I noticed they now copy the US airlines with ice cream in F. In Y they do the same with plain green lettuce as a starter.

LX F is fantastic. Up there with SQ F. I don't think for one second LX are "copying" US airlines just because they have ice cream for dessert.

I love this product. It seems very luxurious without being over-the-top.

Hi there,

I am overly excited to be so fortunate to experience the new LX F in June...

From the pictures you took I get the feeling, the seat is less wide and spacy than the old F-Seat, is this correct?

Especially the solid armrest seem to "steal" some of the space.

Kind regards
M

Very good product ! LH should really take some notes here ! Their F product is totally outdated in comparison with this one...

It doesn't feel as nice as the first press release pictures looked, but it's still a very nice product. As for it being narrower than the old F? It seems it a bit but it's still adequate.

The biggest surprise was the small choice of entertainment. Exactly the same number of channels as the old system. Maybe this will get better as they get past the introduction.

Rumour has it that the new LH F will be very similar to the new LX F.

Are you at liberty to disclose where you heard that from? (Just curious. I have an upcoming flight which I might take on LH metal and I'm wondering if I should or not.)

Thanks to the OP for the pics! ^

I found the new seat every bit as comfortable as the old seat.

The armrest isn't a problem as it drops down when the seat converts to a bed.

It was a thread on the LH forum of Flyertalk. It will be launched on the A380 so it won't be until next year.

Thanks for the info...

Has anyone of you made use of the iPhone connector? Is it more than just a charger?
