Flew back from US to India via Kennedy. Had to connect to a Europe flight which all leave via T5 and JFK goes to t5 also. Got to Kennedy a bit early and checked in at the terminal 7 Club dedicated check in area. Went thru security into the BA lounge. And what a lounge it is. U must use the Elemis Spa. Sign up for it as u get in. Normal wait would be about 20-40 minutes for ur turn. I signed up for the chair spa along with a face treatment. It was 15 minutes long and the feeling was amazing. I felt refreshed.
The flight was a sleeper service so I had my dinner at the preflight supper area. They had some pasta and some other stuff. We boarded on time. Got to my seat and changed into my PJs. I wish BA starts giving these. A lot of other airlines do. Flight took after 45 minutes as its always a long taxi in JFK. I slept off right after take off and woke up when breakfast began. It was quite a disappointing breakfast. Landed just about on time at t5.
At t5 there were no clear signs. I was taking a flight to Europe and there were almost no signs mentioning which way I had to go. Finally I asked an airport staff. This could have been better. t5 is well made. Altho wonder of all things the toilets were not working in the ENTIRE terminal 5. I mean there was no way to take a piss anywhere in the airport as for some technical problems all loos were out of order
).
On way back I took the night flight back to Bombay from London. The aircraft is the old 777 biz class. I had a problem in my seat where the footstool would keep falling down. The IFE is pathetic and they need to change it. I slept a good part of the way but they need to change this service to the new one. Not that they charge less money so they might as introduce the new product. Overall BA is improving their standards. Its surely much better than Virgin nowadays. Now they need to see how they compete against Jet.

Nice summary of your trip.
BA have completed the NGCW (Next Generation Club World) on all the 744s and are in the process of refurbishing the 772s. At present only one has NGCW fitted, with two more in the factory.
