Thanks and welcome back in earnest!
Hope you are flying QF in F this year so we can see the menu
There have been some shocking images of QF F food this year on flyer talk (standard barely passable J QF fare with the exception of the tiny caviar tartlet) despite the Neil Perry "refresh" of the food menu advertised
The F lounges are excellent but the onboard food product (great wine list) is nowhere close to the consistency offered by SQ JL NH AF (or arguably QR J! LH F and LX F)
The overlap with the J menu with poor product differentiation from F is striking
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum

Champagne
Charles Heidsieck Blanc De Millenaires 2004, Champagne, France
The prestige cuvee of Charles Heidsieck. This is only the 4th vintage ever released of this champagne. A joyful champagne that keeps you satisfied till the last sip. This is a classic Blancs champagne made from 100% Chardonnay and it oozes elegance. Expect flavours of patisserie, vanilla bean, dried figs, white peach and citrus oils. The palate keeps on delivering with a round creamy feel, freshness and pure class.

Dandelion Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling 2017, Eden Valley, South Australia
Riesling was first planted in the shallow, rocky soils of the Eden Valley, high in the Barossa ranges, in the early 1850s and time has revealed this place to be a natural home for Riesling. Elena Brooks Dandelion Chief Winemaker has produced a wine with a precise palate with clean citrus fruit flavours of mandarin, lemon, pomelo and lime. This is a well constructed wine with a long finish.
Holm Oak Sauvignon Blanc 2018, Tamar Valley, Tasmania
Holm Oak is a young estate founded by a husband and wife team of Bec and Tim Duffy in the Tamar Valley of Tasmania. This is the new world analogue to Sancerre. Pure, peppery and lots of lemon and tart grapefruit race across the palate while maintaining a subtle, light body.
Tolpuddle Chardonnay 2018, Tasmania
Tolpuddle has become the darling of Tasmania since Michael Hill Smith and Martin Shaw acquired the vineyard. It has been the backbone of some of Australia's greatest Chardonnays though the years, and today it continues to raise the bar for New World Chardonnay. It's pure and elegant chardonnay with a lengthy finish of crisp orchard fruit and smoked hazelnuts.

Mayer Granite Upper Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2018, Yarra Valley, Victoria
Timo Mayer has become a bit of a renegade character in the Yarra. He makes wine in Germany and in Australia each year, and in doing so continues to define his own style. The Granite bottling is sourced from various sites in the Yarra that share a granitic soil composition that lends a finer expression of Pinot Noir. There is no oak influence here, just pur
Kilikanoon Tregea Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Clare Valley, South Australia
Displaying perfect characteristics for the inflight palate, Kevin Mitchell has created a full-bodied, balanced wine with dark berries and hints of eucalypt on the nose, followed consistently through to the palate with blackcurrant. Balance and structure is delivered through fine Clare tannins and cedary oak.
Mayer Syrah 2018, Yarra Valley, Victoria
Timo Mayer has become a bit of a renegade character in the Yarra. He makes wine in Germany and in Australia each year, and in doing so continues to define his own style. The Syrah is his cool climate, less jammy expression of the great Shiraz. Tart black plums and black berries are spiced with aromas of black pepper, campfire and violets. It's fairly light in body, and drinks almost like Pinot with a darker, spicier flavour profile.
Dessert and Fortified Wine
Lillypilly Noble Blend 2015, Riverina, New South Wales
This is one stunningly aromatic dessert wine with tropical fruits and glorious fresh vital passionfruit, lychees and pineapple. This wine is a lighter style with lively acidity supporting the fruit characters. Sweet but balanced and seamless in delivery, it will leave you wanting more.
Penfolds Grandfather Fine Old Liqueur Tawny, South Australia
In 1915, an oak cask containing a blend of the finest tawnies the company possessed was set aside for the exclusive use of the Penfold family. This became known as "the Grandfather" due to the great age of the oldest tawnies in the blend. Penfolds Grandfather Liqueur Tawny, a blend of the finest old tawnies and aged in small oak casks, honours this proud tradition and is Australia's leading example of this style. The rich yet delicate fruit character harmonises perfectly with pronounced aged rancio complexity to produce a truly remarkable aged liqueur tawny.

Thanks Kiwi Flyer! Been waiting to see the QF1 menu.
Menu looks OK, perhaps not as good as the halcyon days of QF first around 2010 but better than other recent reports.
How was the quality of the food? Per chance any photos?

The plant based menu items scream of cost cutting - price the ingredients!! (There are thousands of better plant based meals out there; Y. Ottolenghi should perhaps have been a consultant for these!).
I agree the meals look better than recent times
The wine list is very good, Tolpuddle in particular, almost impossible to source unless you buy winery direct every year
The single malt is very very pedestrian for first
