Hilton Bracknell UK

Spent 1 night at this hotel on 29/7/06 after doing Legoland with the wife and 2 children. Booked a family room got a rate of Ł110, which included breakfast and evening meal for all of us.
The hotel is quite modern in design and the lobby area is quite big. It does the usual Hilton thing of having the bar at the end of the lobby. The rooms were quite large and it has a very good fitness centre and swimming pool.
Oddly enough the hotel has converted one of the conference rooms into a childrens play room which contains various toys. To use the room you have to get a keycard from reception which give you access to the room.
On the downside it has no executive lounge, but then not many outside London do.
As an HH Gold recieved the usual box of chocolates, which the wife got through very quickly. I also got 2 bottles of Hardy's Cabernet Sauvignon, this was much more to my liking.
Overall the food was good and quite a relaxing stay. I would use it again if I consider going to any of the local theme parks.

Had a similarly happy stay at the Hilton Bracknell in February.

As a Hilton Gold, was upgraded to a Junior Suite which was good and had a pretty huge bathroom (seperate bath and shower) and the usual chocolates and wine. I enjoyed the pool. Was particularly impressed by the food - good anyway, but very good for a hotel chain in the UK (where food is generally mediocre at best... ). The dinner was really pretty good (buffet style) and the breakfast was very good (seem to remember that they had a made to order omlette station amongst other things). The staff/service were very good too. Reminded me more of a good US chain hotel - rather than the normal mediocre UK chain hotel... ^ to the management and the staff

Would definitely stay there again if in the area and would recommend to others

The Hilton Bracknell is a hidden gem. I got a great price, and had pretty limited expectations when I arrived.

I was really impressed. It's definitely a 4* hotel, but my overnight stay cost the same as a family meal at Wagamamas!
  • Swimming pool
  • Large and well maintained ground
  • Lot of activities – Tennis and table tennis
  • Smart rooms

Room rate was Ł55 - no extras! Given that it costs Ł20 to play Tennis in London, we were really impressed with what we got
