Martinis at 8, Trip Reports
I have blogged some of my trips and wanted to get this up this weekend before I take off in a couple of weeks for extended travel to remote e-access areas.
Visits to the East
The link will take you directly to the page that has trip reports for Japan, Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia. I have more writing than photos on various background topics related and not related to the photos, etc., but relevant to the trips. Unfortunately all my Malaysia photos are SLR, and I have not had time to scan them.
On the page off to the right there are links to my Las Vegas blog and Angola blog.
I should be out of here in two weeks and hopefully will surface in Jakarta just before the Bali DO in late May. If not I will be back regularly after Thanksgiving. Most of my time will be spent in the interior of Angola, Nigeria, and Qatar.
Feel free to prompt me on any typos or items that need clarification. I am certain the writing can be improved.

I've often wondered the same (though I generally substitute fancy cars for fancy cigars 
).
I have always wondered if those who adhere to The Four Noble Truths and who really follow the Eightfold Path are more liberated than us who like to smoke fancy cigars and sip fine martinis at eight in the evening.
