QF450 - CelebFest
Got an op-up on this MEL-SYD flight and boarded quite late, as I was piss-farting around in the QF pub when the first call was made and missed it.
Seated in 2J (aisle), noticed Molly Meldrum as one of the last to board, and he stopped just in my aisle. Moved out of my seat to let him in, and had the "Hey Hey" legend perched next to me for the next 1.5 hours.
Molly is one funny bloke. He seemed quite chuffed when I told him that his fake heart attack on April Fool's day was one of the funniest things I have ever seen on TV.
That was cool, but the real highlight was spotting socialst tosser (Democrat) Senator Andrew Bartlet in 1C. Bartlett the Boozer, as I affectionately call him, has a wee problem with the grog. Noticed he didn't have a drink during the flight (supposedly going cold turkey after *****-slapping a Liberal Senator in that funky red room in Canberra).
Poor old Boozer Bartlet got up to walk down to one of his communist apparatchiks in Y, and tripped just as he was passing me. Couldn't help it, so I called out:
"TAXI!!!!!"
Dead silence, at Barto went a very.......enraged shade of red. Not a word. Suppressed chuckle from my right, and couple of s......s from the row behind. Classic.
Cop that, you communist hopolophobic .......
If you ever wind up next to Molly, strike up a conversation. Unlike the terminally boring Richard Feidler that I've been stuck next to half a dozen times on the SYD-MEL-SYD route, Molly is a great bloke with a real sense of humour.
Just don't put **** on St Kilda.

That pinko is a neighbour of mine.....
"Cop that, you communist hopolophobic ......."
Oh, my......
I had to pick my self up off the floor when I read this one.
Mr Bartlett is a very close neighbour of mine in inner city Brisbane and one recent morning, I ventured out to get the Saturday paper, and saw the entire Brisbane media camped outside Mr Pinko's house.
Disturbed the tone of the entire place, I must say.
Funny thing is, he is NEVER seen coming to or from his abode.
Just like a democrat to stay out of the sun
PS did you mean hoplophobia ? fear of guns?
Oh, my......

"TAXI!!!!!"
Or should that be "Comcar!"
I'm surprised that in that whole incident last year we never saw a headline:
"It's all gone pear shaped for Bartlet"

But not today.
No wonder the Femocrats are sunk, between Bartlett the Boozer, Minnie Mouse and the House Boy, there's not a hope amongst them.
I'm sure you can work out the nomenclature for yourselves.
