Please use an internet cafe before agreeing on a price in electrical stores I have returned home today with my wife to find out that we have been charged over 100 POUNDS extra for a digital camera and various extras. WE WILL NOT GET OUR MONEY BACK BUT, as we paid by Visa, the Fraud Department are investigating but I would just like to warn any other 'mugs' like myself before it happens to them.
p.s. SORRY FOR THE NEGATIVE POST as I had a brilliant time there other than that, and would recommend it to anyone.
p.p.s. The store I will avoid when I return again is SUNSHINE ELECTRONICS (or ELECTRO) in PLAYA

Are you saying you were charged 100 pounds more than the price you agreed on, or that you just paid too much and were taken advantage of? If you just paid too much, how is that fraud if you agreed to the price?

LOL, pretty much EVERY store in Tenerife will rip you off
I remember in the old days the PTS in the price wasn't PESETAS but "POINTS"
In places like that the only safe way to pay is CASH.

I am going to close this thread as I believe it has been routed to its correct home...
