Glendalough
Glendalough is the centre of the cult surrounding Saint Kevin. We started our visit at the visitor centre with the museum.

The ladies were carefully styled, wearing short skirts (pink or something) and tight-fitting shirts, and lots of make-up. The youngest generation of little devils they had brought with them immediately made their presence felt by climbing on a stone display. I didn't know that museums were adventure playgrounds. I'll have to try that out sometime soon. I'm sure it will go down well and be appreciated by all. There is also a cinema showing a film. Fortunately, it has subtitles, because the esteemed Asosozial family also felt like going to the cinema, and thanks to the good behaviour of the little devils, you could hardly understand a word. All the normal people were thrilled. |
Probably caravan using nomadic travellers. There's a lot of them in the RoI and they do seem to fit the description.

Finally, we went to Powerscourt Waterfall. You pay a hefty entrance fee, then you can park and walk to the waterfall.

You should definitely not miss out on the cheese. Had I known, I would have had it every evening. But well, it costs extra, so that's Ballyfin's loss. On the last day, I actually wanted to visit Glasnevin Cemetery on the way to the airport. However, the traffic on a Sunday was horrific, with lots of cars from England displaying fan symbols. Does anyone know what that could be?
