The Anglican St Canice's Cathedral with its round tower is located at the end of Parliament Street.

Ballyfin
Time for dinner! Once again, there were pre-dinner drinks.

When the menu arrived, I was proven wrong. On the whole, it was identical. I found that a little disappointing, and I'll say in advance that it was identical over the next few days. At least we were able to vary the main course a little. St Brigid's Cathedral Kildare
On the way to Kildare Cathedral, we were first greeted by a huge traffic jam. I wouldn't have guessed it, but there's an outlet mall there, and on Saturdays it seems to be the place to be. It feels like people are still looking for parking spaces there today. But for us, it was off to the city centre.

But then you might as well just give people a regular disabled parking permit straight away. But back to the cathedral. The national palace was next on the agenda. At €22, admission wasn't cheap. But that covers not only the palace, but also the gardens. We started with the Japanese Garden.

National Stud and Garden
I found the stud farm itself only moderately interesting. Sure, it had a nice garden, but that was about it. Incidentally, there were hardly any horses to be seen, and if so, only from a distance.
