Sector the Sixth YVR-LAX AA J

Again, this AA flight was a bit disappointing for +1 as the service was good and he couldn't complain! The meal served was a cold box as it was an American Eagle flight on an E75. But for a cold "protein" box, it wasn't too bad. There was prosciutto, cheese, a tiny cup of fresh fruit, a tiny cup of antipasto veggie items and not enough crackers for the amount of cheese! Drinks were served in glass glasses and refills regularly offered. PDB of water or orange juice was also served. The stewardess serving the J cabin was pleasant and kind. The seat was comfortable and I got a couple of good snaps out the window. I'd love it if someone could identify these for me - my phone was in flight mode so no GPS information embedded in the photo. I wonder whether one of them is Mount Rainier?

We departed and arrived on time, and our luggage made it, so all was well with this sector!

I don't mind their catering, although I wish food would be presented on a tray instead of a box, although I understand the practicality and respect the waste minimisation and optimising of weight. The offerings in the J lounges and Qpub could definitely be better/more authentic to Asian flavours if the Ponytailed One is to be the culinary lead, but that's a whole different discussion...
The only thing I can gainsay on this is the superiority of the 777 over the A380. From a QF fleet management and efficiency perspective, the 777 would have been the better choice. But I much prefer flying on the A380. It's like a cruise ship in the sky. It feels so spacious and it is blessedly quiet. I am going to miss the A380 when it is gone, although based on my JL experience on the A350 (which QF is going to use to deliver Project Sunrise), any wistfulness will quickly evaporate as it seemed just as comfortable as the A380!

I'm by no means an expert in this stuff, but depending how early in the flight you took these, Mt. Baker could be a possibility?

Google Lens thinks the top picture is Mount Rainier and bottom Mount Adams.

I may have missed it, but did you stay over in Vancouver or were you just connecting, staying in the airport the whole time? I've heard reports of issues with claims of Cabotage when there's an itinerary between two US cities with a "connection" outside the US.

I stayed over at YVR, so no cabotage issue arose.
