Villa Feltrenelli
The advantage of Villa Feltrenelli is that it is strongly focussed on its guests. When I asked about breakfast times, the answer was that it starts at 7 and lasts until we get up. I praise that, such flexibility is rare.
We always had breakfast on the terrace. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...33dc95fa16.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...efd64da7b4.jpg The first thing that greets you is the beautiful view. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6c1ebe0115.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...62cbe531f2.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7c64718a6f.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e4e0d71219.jpg Breakfast is ordered completely a la carte. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ea20de4178.jpg The selection is relatively normal, totally unusual things were missing. The food itself was good, although not outstanding. Nevertheless, we were unquestionably satisfied. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5fe2f679bf.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bd75e352ef.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...54e4c7c6f4.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e7cbeaaf37.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ca357e83fb.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...abc00a0707.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...307c02875d.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ee85a2cd73.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ce464b4b4d.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e8f344bbf7.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...395f04a613.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f4a3e5c747.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...caabd2de1d.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3681a9c3bf.jpg |
Salò
Of course, we don't just want to stay in Villa Feltrenelli, we also want to get out and about. First of all, we went to Salò. It's a beautiful little town with lots of old buildings.

Duomo Salò
To start with, Salò is not a bishop's see, but the main church is still called the Duomo.
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1b84be1bd4.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8a78a30385.jpg At first the church was closed (lunch break), but I came back. Inside is a classic church, there are also cloths to cover your shoulders. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d1cf4c8b79.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2bcbeb7f8b.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8617b0a7f2.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a2e8a82b9f.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...98a49cd436.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e62db5c1dd.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6bfa03a643.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...67fab3a88a.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...99f3013b6c.jpg |
Chiesa di San Giovanni Decollato Salò
It is a small church with a special feature. A considerable number of relics have been collected in an adjoining room.
https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bfb1b7c8e9.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e68e2bd7c3.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...487b4b55d3.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6c94d8142b.jpg |
MuSa Salò
The MuSa is the historical museum of Salò, which presents the history of the region since ancient times. The building is also interesting, it is a former church.
https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d7c243eab9.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7f64c623a0.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7aac84bea7.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5acd1fc267.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7898673f8e.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...363279d651.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...205d894f3f.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bd7103ee7d.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...91de1698bf.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4821c034dc.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...51f9636777.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5c0c98d878.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0360785be7.jpg |
La Casa del Dolce Salò
But now it was definitely time for a gelato. La Casa del Dolce had made it into the top 100 of the last Dissapore list (no. 95) and received one Cono from Gambero Rosso.
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...993c39bd6e.jpg The selection was very promising. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8443767101.jpg Our selection. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0113d61a43.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c3d59714d3.jpg The gelato was really very good, I can highly recommend it. When I came back to the church later, it was really full, so it's no secret. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...cfa363fe1d.jpg |
Gelateria Ciocolat Toscolano Maderno
On the way back there was a stop at Ciocolat. The gelateria was ranked 52nd in the last Dissapore list, and 36th the year before. In 2017, Gambero Rosso awarded it the title of up-and-coming ice cream maker of the year.
https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e173901f84.jpg The selection was quite large, some of the flavours were unusual and creative. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...084f9931a0.jpg The gelato was of very good quality, you can go there more often. I did, but more on that later;) https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...66e22205ee.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e107f7330f.jpg |
Lido84
When I was researching restaurants on Lake Garda, I naturally came across Lido84, which is just 12 kilometres from Villa Feltrenelli and has a Michelin star. It is also number 7 in the San Pellegrino list worldwide, making it the best-ranked restaurant in Italy. Of course, I know that the former first-placed "Best of the Best" restaurants are not included in the list, but in Italy this is only the Osteria Francescana, which in my opinion is rather disappointing. So once again, the list and the Michelin are falling apart somewhat, and the Lido84 has also retained one star in 2024.
However, the restaurant's ranking makes it very popular. I didn't book directly on the day the reservations opened at 12 noon, but a day later. As a result, I was only able to put myself on the waiting list for 3 days. Then, 1 week before our arrival at Lake Garda, I was informed that a table had become available. Unexpectedly, on the evening of the dinner, travelling there was a problem. While the 12 kilometres should normally take a maximum of 15 minutes, it took us around 1 hour! It just sucked, you could almost have walked. By the time the photo was taken, we had already covered quite a distance. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d4d8a259b5.jpg The restaurant itself is quite inconspicuous. Although it is located on the waterfront, you didn't really have a view in the dark. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...429fdb4c7e.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6a5f95592f.jpg While the menu still cost €85.00 when it was booked in April 2023, they now want €130.00 for 7 courses and €150.00 for 9 courses. A hefty increase, but there are worse things on the market at the moment. The courses themselves weren't exactly big, so the 9 courses have to be put into perspective. But they were really filling, so it was more than enough. I can't remember everything and can't really understand it from the menu. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4b83dfea70.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ee6b827e34.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bb4329dd6c.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a2aea5f06b.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f1cddeefb8.jpg This is the first Signature Dish: Speghettoni, Butter, Yeast Crumble. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b94e1ae288.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4d98305d21.jpg This was immediately followed by the next signature dish, namely "Risotto, Black Garlic, Berries". https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a7e577bf6e.jpg Contrary to what you might think, it wasn't the kitchen crew who got drunk here, but the plate design is intended to honour the artist Stefano Bambardieri. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7ca7f256bd.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3a9067dbcd.jpg Next came a bit of cinema, we had "400° Eggplant alla Parmigiana". https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f91e629848.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ad7d439850.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b4f3c334a3.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...18d5f742a1.jpg It's basically a totally burnt aubergine on the outside, but it's juicy on the inside. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...76be8537fd.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...404752d4d1.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e96ebdd678.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f64174a7f8.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6f175fb35e.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bd9251a5e0.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d36f0ea736.jpg The main dessert was a huge yeast pastry. It was dgood, but in my opinion far too much, too heavy and rather disappointing as a finale to such a dinner. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...058e272dc0.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d3d730cec7.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...05757cd191.jpg The bill was relatively manageable. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...75b2e5571f.jpg How was it? It was a good dinner, everything tasted good. But it's certainly not number 7 in the world - San Pellegrino seems to be joking again. I think 1 star is OK overall, but you could also go for 2 stars. But certainly not more. |
I'd give it a PG on the food porn scale .
|
Now those prices (despite portion sizes, but then agian, 9 courses, so taking that in mind) are more like it, unlike the previous restaurant where I felt were a bit overcharging.
Especially the April price, 85 eur for 7(?) courses feels like a steal. |

That water was surprisingly inexpensive (unless you got tap water). I've paid € 5 in quite ordinary places over the last couple weeks in France, and don't get me started on Switzerland.

Panorama al Fil
The next morning we set off for the Santuario Di Montecastello. On the way, we stopped at Panorama al Fil. It's a bar, but it was closed. The view is magnificent.

Santuario Di Montecastello
Next we went up to the Santuario Di Montecastello. The path is quite steep and narrow, especially on the last few metres. The car park is also quite special, as you park on a steep driveway. On one side the door bangs open, on the other you have to push hard. I would be careful parking under another car, depending on the driver or passenger you are sure to get a nice dent.
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9996463d99.jpg The complex looks most impressive in aerial photographs, but the entrance is also nice to look at. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6c43b7063d.jpg Behind the entrance you can see the actual church. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b358550904.jpg The church itself is relatively classic and typical of a pilgrimage church. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3a1cc98667.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3fb7926531.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...24d39b2fe3.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b35ad21a64.jpg There is also a lower church under the main church. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...254384fb78.jpg Another place of devotion. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...221577dc90.jpg The real highlight, however, are the views. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c21dbbb103.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...dd7cecfa22.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2a1d3b9c27.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4c4da551e0.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9a123cc869.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d375bdc198.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...913aa1c31a.jpg A few metres further down is the Panchina gigante n. 238 Tignale. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6fdbaf6e6e.jpg There is also a good view from here. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d721e96faf.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...74d00d963e.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9f587ddc02.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0a1817599a.jpg |

Surely it's not as bad as to call it enhancement, right? :D

I can imagine.
Well all I can say I'm quite satisfied with my car from the other Stuttgart brand, albeit an older model. |
San Benedetto Limone sul Garda
Next we stopped in Limone sul Garda. The first place of interest was the church of San Benedetto.
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a105088adf.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e300da2483.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...30154786de.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...dd43262597.jpg Although the church was in the city, there was even a view. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...99f1c29709.jpg |
Limonaia del Castel Limone sul Garda
Who could have guessed it? The main attraction of Limone sul Garda is a limonaia. Admission costs a few euros, but you get to see a multi-storey limonaia with lots of citrus plants.
https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e2d109476f.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...cf8b71085e.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...434558bbeb.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...74faa4e885.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...db0c835de4.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2eb8a47271.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9bc6d0f537.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...86c850d396.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...333af9ab79.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9b10bd2e4e.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bc5f988bf0.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...cec4384aff.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...968c1f056a.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3769a8eb24.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...74e2e3abef.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...427f9ee7fc.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6c9363ffaf.jpg |
Limone sul Garda
The heart of the city is the riverside promenade. Everything is pretty, but nothing extraordinary. Too touristy for me, even in October.
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a3dbcb14cc.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0fa56e8f5c.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...fdd3c6061d.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...21004d34ff.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...fd0f9574dc.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bbc3643c17.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5ae64f7414.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...22b6bcc8aa.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...135b7fd15c.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1591bf854a.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...32de9c7886.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e682f8ae40.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5bb73fd28f.jpg |
Vittoriale degli italiani
The Vittoriale degli italiani is the former villa of Gabriele D'Annunzio, a highly controversial writer and fascist. The latter in particular is accepted quite uncritically here, and if you look at the election results, many people don't seem to think it's such a bad thing. Unfortunately, the idiots aren't getting any fewer; in many places around the world, including my home country, right-wing ideas are becoming more and more acceptable.
The area is a mixture of many things: in addition to the house, there is an arena, a theatre, a museum, a mausoleum and, last but not least, the garden with a battleship, the Puglia. It's all quite bizarre, to be honest. We had a ticket that included a guided tour of the villa. Photography was forbidden, so no photos. But I have to say that the interior was one of the ugliest houses I've ever seen. In addition, everything was very dark (D'Annunzio had an eye disease) and it smelt musty everywhere. GF cancelled the tour after 5 minutes, an elderly woman collapsed. Not a nice place to be honest. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4c7d6f90f0.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7474cbda05.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4cc6b48323.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2559be76bd.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...df2b52e298.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1ae09b0cac.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...17d0b71e52.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8080cf938f.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9ae5441fbd.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bd2463d5c4.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4ab4b432af.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1f049b0dd9.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e829c7928a.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...03a901b59c.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...790c264d48.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...cda4b3e5cc.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...08167753b5.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c236c761bc.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3512d123d9.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8964161b35.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...24074a298d.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a3640c127b.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6a5c9fa8fe.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0d9530eef8.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c1a0b52121.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c9b7d4a7ad.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c1a24ea928.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d6050f7f78.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8638be4f47.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...457380187c.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e4c0edcdeb.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...57a6072839.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1ba414374f.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4a0ada225c.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...dd6f00f2e1.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d96835dc93.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...68e5962f98.jpg |
Chiesa di San Nicolò da Bari
Directly opposite the Vittoriale degli italiani is the church of San Nicolò da Bari. It is a Baroque church with paintings by Andrea Celesti and Francesco Monti. There is a view on top.

La Tortuga Gargnano
In the evening we went to La Tortuga. What sounds like a disreputable pirate shop with Jack Sparrow lying in the corner is actually an old family restaurant that has been awarded a Michelin star for many years.
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f92ace22a0.jpg The furnishings are quite unconventional, but somehow cosy. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...767021e6b3.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...89cadbf182.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8cebc0290e.jpg The menus offer good value with 4 courses for €110.00 and €120.00 for 5 courses, but we wanted to eat a la carte. Personally, I preferred it to Lido84 because it was simply "down-to-earth" Italian cuisine. The prices are also reasonable, you can eat even cheaper with a set menu. |
Last time we were in this part of the world, we ate at La Tortuga in Gargano and liked it so much we went back there the following evening as well. Good food and charming staff at reasonable prices.

The heart of the city is the riverside promenade. Everything is pretty, but nothing extraordinary. Too touristy for me, even in October.

What makes it ‘too touristy’? Nothing really stands out in the photos

Gargnano
We walked around Gargnano at night for a while.

Castello Scaligero Malcesine
The next morning we travelled to Malcesine. The journey is long as the ferry didn't run and we were allowed to drive once around the lake. In Malcesine we went to Scalier Castle.
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5171a6babe.jpg There is not an infinite amount to see inside. There is modern art on display, but otherwise you have beautiful views from the tower and there is a small natural history museum. There is also the Goethe Room, because the castle is known from Goethe's travelogue. He was supposedly arrested here as an Austrian spy. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8c6b9db7b1.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1917e7c8a1.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1ea4e74fb3.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5f6d83fb17.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...99466e24b8.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...23b17a1865.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...338b3833c1.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d1a2cf3e65.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...55c2fd4ef0.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...32fd1d95cb.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...92712cb745.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...49509a34b2.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5be2974a34.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3aabcd6603.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3fe6b85511.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b652aa9a4a.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0f52e890bc.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e20ec2af62.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...77a432eed6.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...52bf47024d.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5726576b82.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6fd93a6ff1.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f2231de891.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...608a6583b8.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1633823d06.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1decec3b67.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b36a8d8111.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...be7bc2c869.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ab6f8255f2.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9c2e694696.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...016a9100a1.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9a6db0b708.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7a9dfd273d.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f6ac3b814c.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...dcea8b16c4.jpg |
San Viglio
San Viglio is a small complex with a villa (not open to the public), a hotel and some old buildings. Quite nice, but contrary to what my travel guide says, it's not a must-see.

Santa Maria Assunta Garda
Our next stop was the town of Garda, where we first went to the Santa Maria Assunta church.

Garda
The tour of Garda began on the promenade and continued in the town centre. Everything was pretty, but nothing more. Garda is not the highlight of the lake.

The sightseeing programme ended in Lazise. A town with old city walls and pretty houses.
