Great trip report! I would also love to hear more about the actual booking process if you don't mind sharing?

Also Japan seems to be a common stop on these round the world trips, would you advise allocating more days to explore (for a first time visitor) or do you think the 10 days you had was sufficient?

Great read thus far. Really enjoyed your piece on Bakersfield. Especially since it’s my home town and the last place I’d ever see mentioned here. Were you able to go to the Crystal Palace?
