Thanks Grande Annee! We will see what's next! Off to Almeria in a few weeks but maybe that's not as exciting
Ha - yes, it thankfully came out. Shirt looks brand new!
Thanks fellow Stu! Hope you enjoyed your PHX run!
Thanks for reading! Hope you manage to get to New Orleans soon!

Great Trip Report.
I was in New Orleans the week before for a conference.
Unfortunately, I really didn't enjoy the city. Looking back the weather was very cold and its different visiting a party city by yourself.
I enjoyed exploring the French Quarter on the free day I had, but found Bourbon St very seedy and not somewhere I wanted to return.

There is now a lounge at MSY for BA passengers. "The Club" is less than five minutes to the A gates and has perfectly edible food and drinks. Not bad at all for a contract lounge. (You can pay ($30 I think) to access if you can't get in with your ticket/status). The gate and lounge don't communicate so we were called to the gate and then had to hang around standing for twenty odd minutes for a slightly delayed departure. The new terminal is fine too but the public transport options to/from downtown are of the usual abysmal standard you find in much of the USA.
No shelter, no information, no clue. Public buses in New Orleans
