Thanks for the excellent trip report and the equally fantastic photo that accompanied it.
We stayed at Solvang many years ago on our West Coast trip, I can’t say I’ve seen a report with anyone else mentioning it. The best thing I enjoyed in that city was the use of metric! No having to try and roughly convert between the two!

By the way, Roseburg IS kind of creepy (I lived there as a small child and my folks never looked back with anything resembling fondness) and the "original" Starbucks in Seattle isn't.
