Hi guys!

We recently enjoyed an amazing safari experience in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Our package was booked with Tented Adventures - this is NOT a promotion / advertisement. Just our honest opinion on a trip which we fully paid for, but we really cannot recommend these guys enough. Great & clean accommodation, budget friendly (waaaay cheaper than any other accommodation we found - especially since we did 2 long safaris daily), great atmosphere and excellent safari guides. The food was good too, but it was not incredibly varied and very meat-based as well (although that’s a general thing in South Africa in our experience). Our reason for posting this is because we spent a loooot of time looking for a more budget friendly safari option in Kruger - hopefully you won’t have to repeat that process now that you know about this place!

We were lucky enough to spot all of the big five, as well as plenty of zebras, hyenas, antilope, etc. Definitely make sure to do the sunrise safari if you can choose time of day - it’s when we had the most luck spotting animals!

The best time to visit Kruger is definitely September-October because this is the dry season and you will have more chances of spotting wildlife (gathered at watering holes, hiding behind bushes with fewer leaves, etc).
