Could you elaborate more on this please? I just used BOM two weeks ago and there was no seperate line for Indian passport holders as far as I could tell. If this does exists, could you please tell me where exactly it is? All I remember is the two snake lines merged into one with someone telling you which counter to go to.

When you arrive at the passport control site there are two lines, one says "visitors" (left) and the other "Indian passports" (right) which you can also use if you have the yellowhite residency book. I really wonder how you guys can have missed that one?

Excellent report. On a side note, is there a consensus amongst BA F flyers as to which of the long-hauls ex-LHR have the best and most elaborate service?

My guess would be either LHR-SIN or LHR-HKG, but I will the final call for the experts.

Im sitting on a load of Qantas points that will get me one long-haul on BA in F. Actually, if at all possible Im thinking of doing a LHR-HKG return with the ex-LHR leg on BA ad the return from HKG on CX. Perhaps this is the best combination?

That is true - Hed Kandi is great!
Especially the Disco Heaven and Beach House series. I do not like the Back to Love series too much, though.

MumbaiDan:

Any other advice you can offer (for those without Indian residency permits) for arrival into Mumbai (BA J Class) and departure (Cathay J Class to Bangkok), BA Gold status? I'll be taking this route in a month or so, and have been warned that the airport can be "challenging".

First, great report and well done.

I would much prefer CX First/Business over BA First/Bus. Just an opinion. CX First seat is Heavenly. You read his comments on the BA flight, headphones don't even work and with Cathay, it is Studio CX.

BA needs to upgrade their product.
