Mexicana Airlines First Class
I just bought first class tickets from the USA to Cancun on Mexicana. Last year I flew Business Class on Lufthansa within Europe, which was an underwhelming experience, as many people on this board will attest. Did I just make the same mistake with Mexicana? I would appreciate any descriptive information (seats, food, ambience, service, etc.) anyone can provide on the first class experience on Mexicana. Many thanks!

The seats are the same as U.S. carriers, the meals are a little better with menus, and the staff is very attentive.
The lounge is very nice in Mexico City.
I have never flown on Mexicana airplane with entertainment enabled, so I can not comment on this.
However, on Mexicana you can do a revenue upgrade upon checkin and it is not very expensive. $50 to $150 depending on length of trip. So, this may be cheaper than actually buying the first class ticket.

Welcome to FT Air Pimp...
As this is not a trip report, I am going to move this to the "other North/South America Programs Forum.
You'll perhaps find more response there.
Again...welcome aboard!
