One Star Award (via United) and one One World Award (via American) - the rest is a paid splurge 230,000 miles total.

I could only hope to compete with Daniel's photography skills and SFO's level of luxury!

It's not for everyone

I imagine you feel the same I feel when I see people do a RTW in 4-5 days with no time off the plane. For me, 2-3 days is perfect to revisit a city I miss and love, coffees at my favourite places, long walks, etc.

I admit - I'd love a longer in depth trip right now, but hey, the way these awards and such all lined up is just WAY too perfect!

Very fun! I only fear that it starts in iAd and ends Ord>dca, which almost feels like a letdown after all the intl F flights. Anyway I'm looking forward to this and hope you have a great time. Hope you get good ideas for the lounges.
The other nice thing is that if you feel like you didn't get enough time in any of the cities, then you can return at a later date :-)

Thought that you have been waaaay to quiet.

Saw your blog this morning - let me know when you plan to be in JHB, some new craft beer places have opened.
