I seem to have a habit of not finishing my trip reports.
L'Angle was actually fantastic - probably my second favorite meal in Paris and not nearly as expensive as my fav. I promise to add it soon.
BTW, nice to see you posting Nanook. I haven't seen you on FT in a long time.

Sounds like you had a fantastic trip!
Sorry to see that you were disappointed with Spoon. When it first opened, I visited often with a friend who lives nearby. I thought the whole concept of mixing and matching from the columns was fairly innovative and we had some great meals. The staff was always fantastic and our meals even more so. I haven't been in a few years, but have heard that quality has declined since Ducasse has turned Spoon into an international chain. It's sad, really.
BTW - prices are even higher and outrageous at Spoon London, especially given the mediocre food at this branch!
