matahari...actually, I pay $660 CDN plus $50 for heated undergound parking for my tenth floor one bedroom apartment in downtown Calgary.

I know NY rent's are absurd...but so is our weather and income tax structure.

How much was the lowest advertised price for XBoxes in the NYC area? Up here, they're asking CAD 565 (about USD 356) for the things with extra controller + 1 game.

Street price was $299 although most stores advertised with bundles for around $350 including 2 games, an extra controller and a memory card (usually worth around $150, although not a single store had them in stock... The price you are quoting is very low

I was curious to see how prices compare. The price I'm quoting is from a large grocery superstore that's an extension of a national grocery chain in Canada. Not sure what the prices offered by other retailers are.

Only when they want it to. (trials, within a month I'll have europewide roaming on it (they say))
