How to Be a Star - Part 5

Saturday August 12 and Sunday August 13

Went to Disneyland for the entire day (via van, not executive car). Went on the Star Tours space ride, Magic Mountain roller coaster, Indiana Jones ride (hurt my knees some), Innoventions (not that good, and Splash Mountain. Lines were long (no VIP pass) and the weather was hot.

Saw the Main Street Parade. I hadn't been to Disneyland in many years, it seemed much larger when I was young. Still had a lot of fun. Matterhorn was closed, and I didn't have quite enough time to do everything.

Late night I went to a new restaurant called Ago (not Spago). Since I ate some before, I only had a cheese plate (slightly salty), and mushroom ravioli, again (only O.K.).

Went to bed late.

Sunday I went to Beverly Center and a bookstore before packing up for home. A full limousine took me back to the airport.

Lunch was a cheese and fruit plate. I talked some about my trip on this flight. Plane was late again. Got on the express bus (a comedown) for home.

I was disapointed that I didn't get to go to a movie screening, or to get a walk-on role at a television show.

Sting's guitar is (really) coming soon.

The End

Robert, sounded like a very cool trip. But they only allowed you to go by yourself if you were the winner (trip for one only)? Pretty odd since it was a great trip to impress your honey with..

Went by myself because I didn't have anyone else to go with. Everything (except AGO which I went to myself) was included with the trip.
