Derek, are you aware that your continued observations in this forum, with numerous critiques of AA's service, are quite possibly a rule violation, and could result in the revocation or suspension of your family's travel privileges?
It is inappropriate for a non-revenue traveler to post on a public forum derogatory remarks about the carrier providing the travel privileges. Even though the company assesses a service charge for non-revenue travel, you are still required to comply with all AA Rules and Regulations. Some of your remarks, however well-intentioned, may be considered derogatory by management.
I am personally offended by several of your statements regarding AA, its service and its employees.

I have read your trip reports and do not find your AA remarks particularly harsh or mean. I personally enjoy reading about AA service and really appreciate it.
I think even an AA employee or family members has a right to critiques its own airline, as long as it is done in a proper and tasteful manner.
Thanks Derek for your trip report!

Derek Webster: I continue to be impressed by your integrity and conduct on this board. I don't know what you usually race on, but if you ever want to ocean race on J35 or bay race or day sail Jeanneau 34, both based in San Francisco Bay, drop me an email as you're always welcome. Tho the J will be in Hawaii most of the summer.

Derek: In the bay in the summer is a bit different than So Cal ... it regularly blows 30 with lotsa chop. Trust me, you'll be wet. And in ocean races ... well, you're soaked through your foulies for days on end.
