They DARE STOP CMDR CATCOP AT SECURITY?

I was happily on my way on 10-04 to see Old Gold and his wife Cathy (who turned out to be even more wonderful and friendly than I imagined!

So I go to the security area at CO terminal 3, put my jacket full of stuff on the bed and get stopped when I pass through the detecters.

I did NOT beep. I figured the only problem could be my fat wallet.

Lovely securiyt girl says "could you please explain to me the "star" in your Levi jean jacket pocket.

That "star" was the fabulous CMDR CATCOP star Old Gold kindly made for me. I had to take it out, she and another securiyt woman looked it over and I said "well it's my badge for this travel club I belong to."

They let me pass.

But I can hear my CMDR CATCOP personna say "THEY DARE STOP ME??? ME? THE POLICE OFFICER OF FLYERTALKER SEEKING TO REDUCE OMNI? DON"T THEY KNOW WHO I AM?"

RRRRAAAAOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!

Next time I'LL WEAR the badge.

Maybe the security people in London that "worked-over" Diana Ross, have been moved across the Pond.

I think the lesson here is I should always wear my Commander Catcop badge. That way the bright gold can dazzle and hypnotize security, sour gate agents, Red Carpet and other airline lounge people, beautiful women, etc.

Yes, wear it everywhere. Except when I go to bed. WILL NOT GO FURTHER!

As a manufacturer of specialty metal products I often pass through airport security with strange things in my breifcase. (Once I even got through with a CMDR CATCOP badge!)

My experiences don't leave me with a lot of confidence that I am being protected from determined terrorists, but if you try to get through with a Levi jacket and a Catcop badge watchout!

I do however, have confidence that Commander Catcop will be on the job policing the FlyerTalk community.
