PHX-ORD-MCO

Saturday morning departure to the land of Mickey, Minnie, and a rendezvous with Rudi...

Zero wait at the UA First Class check-in. Off to the RCC for a quick mimosa and a cup of coffee. RCC deserted (2 other people in there).

UA 682 -- 757 service to Chicago. Walk to gate and immediately board. Seats 1AB -- I like these seats because of the little knock-out space in the bulkhead -- an extra 4 inches is nice at 6'4". Raeban feels confined -- she greatly prefers big fuses and really wants us to have 747 service whenever we fly. She's spoiled!

Pre-departure drinks served with a snarl. FC has a few empty seats -- entire load is about 60%. FA never once smiled the entire flight. Breakfast service was the fruit plate or the sampler (which stinks is awful really bad yuck please get rid of it UA)...

Ontime departure and arrival -- straight into the gate at ORD. Deplaned through the front door so we were first off and on our way to the RCC. Love the ORD lounge -- sit and watch airplanes and have a cocktail and a smoke (or four).

UA 1500 -- 757 service to MCO. Same seats, same comments from Raeban. FA with same attitude. Only 17 in FC -- 3 are UA pilots and two appear to be FA's. Only 99 in the back of the plane so we get an extra FA in FC who is from England and actually has a personality.

Snack service is OK -- nothing tremendous and no CaliTerra wines. FA (snarl sister) asks Raeban if she will be "joining us for the meal?" Raeban's reply? "No, I think I'll just parachute to the nearest Denny's".

On time flight and fair enough service for UA.

Now firmly entrenched at the Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista. Went to Disney Downtown last nite and now off to Kennedy Space Center.

OMNI to HammerToad -- we have something for you...

Glad youse guys made it in safely! Hmmm I wonder what ever could be the surprise...?

Looking forward to meeting you, Raeban & Rudi. Send me an email so I'm sure I've got the day/time/place straight.

Cheers,
