Another good trip report - thanks Uncle T! I have to say I laughed out loud at the offer of wheelchair assistance to iWife - do you keep reminding her😜
Now, the last time I read one of your reports we ended up booking a similar itinerary very soon after, so watch out for us booking a trip to Alaska!

Thank you for sharing! It looks like you had some really good flights with AA.
The more I see photos of AA's improved food service on domestic flights and international flights, I'm impressed!
Looking forward to your next trip.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention yesterday, Uncle T, as I was under the impression that you'd given up on your trip reports.
Hopefully EI and its franchisee will be welcomed back into oneworld sometime next year.

JER-LGW-DUB with BA/EI ... the EI on a BA codeshare, I have yet to sort out the baggage aspects of the EI leg, which I suspect will be tedious/expensive.
DUB-PHL-PHX with AA ... also noting that PHL-PHX is 2070 miles, and thus earning 210 TPs in F ... although that will take us well over the requirement for renewing BAEC Gold. However, schoolboy error averted

All on one PNR, booked through BA on the Gold Line on 125- tickets by a super-helpful Agent.
Re-reading my old TRs can be useful ... I shall have to PM a few who have commented here for additional tips

Anyway, back on BA tomorrow for a couple of weeks in NoVA - it will be interesting to compare the BA TATL [A380] with the AA [A330] again.
EDIT: IAD TR is now published here >>> http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trip-...er-uk-iad.html
