Now we have some better wifi connections and it is time to continue

First there where 2 unexciting economy legs with JQ and AK from SIN to KBR via KUL

During our AK flight we where very tired and so we had "no" time for some pics, bit i think AK is not so exciting!

The KBR airport is e really small one, it has only 3 gates.

when we arrived at KBR, a driver picks us up and drove us to the jetty at Kuala Besut. Here was an office of our Hotel, they arrange the boat transfer to the perhentians islands.

Time for a boar ride

( only 45min )

unfortunately the weather was no so good

and here are some pics of the Tuna Bay Resort, the resort was quite good, 24h elect. and AirCon.

and now some pics of the island. I can recommend this island for snorkeling or sun fans!

there are also some tracking trails...

There are incredible reefs right at the beaches!

and so on...

Than after 8 days it was time to fly again. We flow KBR BKK via KUL

first again Air Asia

in KUL we used the MH Golden Lounge, they had a quite good selection there.

Then it was time to fly MH Y

so after immigration and re-checkin, we had nearly 3h for the TG first class lounge

And now it was time for the QR A380 First Class

then there was a flight with Al Maha Airways, this seems to be a company from QR

in AUH we stayed at the Dust Thani Hotel, it was quite okay for the price.

The also have some nice food-offer at there lounge

I think QR attempted to open up a Saudi Arabian domestic airline company and this attempt failed (at least for now). Apparently they reused these aircraft for QR flights.
