My Trip To Chicago!

Route: GSO-ORD, ORD-GSO
Airline: United Express
Equipment: ERJ-145
Flights: Both flights were on time and prompt, I am not the biggest fan of ERJ-145's but have flown them on multiple occasions, i do really like the extra space in the ERJ-170,175 and 190 class. The advantage with the 145 is the single aisle seating
I fell asleep a good bit on the outbound flight and woke up on approach into Ohare. Stayed at the Kinzie hotel in downtown Chicago, booked via HotelsTonight App. I would highly recommend this hotel, very friendly and we had a great view. We picked up two city passes and visited the museums and a observatory, but most of our time was focused on food
I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking, I hope you enjoy and please let me know if you have any specific questions regarding any photos:This is my first trip report, so be easy on me!

Thanks for reading!

I just need to work on my formatting and getting my pictures to be the same size. The food was fantastic. I love Cuban food and it did not disappoint in Chicago, this is coming from a guy that has had a lot of Cuban food in Miami.

Looks like a great time. I heart Chicago and I still get giddy every time I pass through town, even if it's just a quick stop at ORD.
But yeah, United Express RJ to ORD... welcome to my world. That's how most of my trips begin and end these days

It's a beautiful city, I have also spent some time in the Suburbs(Crystal Lake, Carpentersville, Algonquin....etc)
Thank you or checking out my trip report, Chicago was a great host!
The hotel has the Kinzie. I forgot what floor we were on, but it was close to the top. The hotel has 16 floors I believe. Please let me know if you have any questions about the hotel! Thanks
Thank you, the BBQ is from Smoque, I initially saw the restaurant on Food Network and had to try it. It's the best BBQ i have ever had and I am from NC. The place, the atmosphere, the location, everything worked perfectly together.
I have probably been on 15+ ERJ-145 trips, and it's a love/hate relationship

Thanks for visiting our city and glad you had a good time.
Love the view from the Planetarium/Aquarium area.
We have a very active local FT group that meets for dinner about twice a month and for other activities in the warmer months like baseball games. Find us in Community Buzz and don't be shy about proposing a meetup.
