Wow - what an amazing trip! And beautiful trip report with stunning photos! Thanks for sharing with us.
How do you like the RX100? I am curious how that compares with your 5DII - I imagine that it does not take nearly as amazing photos as the 5DII but perhaps is still a good alternative in terms of a compact camera?

Great TR and great pictures!
However, I was more curious about how you booked all these flights? I saw you were on 202 and 134 ticket stock for some BPs you showed. So did you use your LM to book the entire trip?

The RX100 III is the best compact there is I'd say, but it is, of course, no DSLR. It's great for shots intended for the web of things you shoot upclose, not that great for landscape shots you want to print. As a backup camera on a plane or when you are tired lugging the 5dII around, I can definitely recommend the RX 100 III.

Lifemiles all the way on this trip. It's a great program, because crazy routings like GVA-DME-IAH come out of the system and it let's you book oneways.
