I love seeing trip reports from people outside the US visiting here! I have to say though, my favorite thing is the fact that you hated those cheese fries. The first really good friend from Europe that I ever had was so horrified by that kind of fake, nacho cheese sauce when she lived here. I love it so I always thought it was funny. You guys don't know what you're missing out on

Excellent report, enjoyed the photos and commentary! Also glad you like the doubletree "D"

Very interesting trip report and some fantastic photos. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy reading your say it like it is TR. Thanks.
Amazing that in a short month you traversed such a huge territory of the southwest of my country (not to mention by various forms of transportation). Glad you enjoyed the trip.
Cant help but think you really love burgers and fries! While you were in LAX (albeit short duration), you could have done In-n-Out nearby.
Antelope Canyon and Bryce Canyon are truly incredible!
BTW, Italy is my most favorite country to visit, bar none!

I just read through this report and loved it!
I was just at Antelope Canyon and the Grand Canyon and couldn't believe I hadn't seen them until now! Everything out west is absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you for the report! Glad we didn't disappoint!

Your photos are spectacular and your graciousness towards America is well appreciated. I'll be visiting Italy 3 times in the next 8 months (Florence, Venice, Rome), and I'll take your advice to heart.
Great TR, straniero, really enjoyed reading it.
A couple of points:
1) From one of your photos of the outbound trip in Magnifica, I chuckled when I noticed the film on the IFE labelled as "Il discporso del Re". I just this weekend flew EZE-FCO (in Classica Plus) and I noticed the same spelling mistake myself. Evidently nobody has pointed it out (or they have, but nobody bothered changing it...)
2) In the toilet selfie pic, how the hell have you managed to stay so thin after all that eating and drinking? Whenever I visit the US I feel like I'm absolutely ballooning after just a few days ;-)
Cheers!

Cruise control + automatic gear helped a lot with all the driving ^Originally Posted by allset2travel

, I guess it's probably easier to wait for the movie to be taken off the list2) it's a clever combination of camera angle and XXL t-shirts.
