Fabulous images, in particular the street scenes plus the spiral staircase. You made reference to Leica's most famous user - may I ask which camera/lens/lenses you use/travel with?

Thanks for sharing.

Many thanks, perryman:). I travel with my trusty Canon 5D3 (has been to 41 countries now:)!), and usually a few primes (24, 50, & 85), and a UWA zoom (16-35mm or 17-40mm).

Thank you - such lovely photos. Methinks it is time for me to get back there for a day or so.

Thanks, roadwarrier, yes a city I could see myself visiting again as well:).

I admire your use of B&W which really helped focus on the subject. Fantastic photo series and gave me ideas on how I can improve my own travel photos. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, El Cochinito, yes, one of my favourite ways to find inspiration is looking for other people's photography too.

Amazing captures of an amazing city, I visit Paris on a regular basis and have never been up the Eiffel Tower, every time I get there, the call of a bistro wins me over. Love your style of capturing people and places, excellent.

Thank you, FlyingRhino:). The Eiffel tower is a bit 'cliche', but it was definitely one of the highlights for me! You'll have to add it to your list for next time anyway.

Have you got any photos from inside the supermarche exotique?

Thanks for these amazing photos. For 10 minutes I was able to escape to Paris on what would have been a ordinary working day.

Love the photos and trying to guess where they were taken from.

In one of your pics I could see my place. :D

Am a fan of your travels.

Really wonderful photographs of a great city Thank you DanielW ! Amazed that you got ll of this from one visit-and that it is your first visit.
I am wondering how you got the shot of La Giocanda without any crowds? Your timing of many of the other photos is great also.

Many thanks, bigguyinpasadena, yes, I tried to see as much as possible:).

I queued up quite early for the Louvre, and basically speed-walked to the Mona Lisa as soon as I got in just to see it up close before the crowds arrived.
