A Long Weekend In Paris

A trip report from my first visit to Paris.

As most people here have probably already experienced the beautiful city of Paris, I will keep the words brief and let the photo's do the talking.

Fabulous images, in particular the street scenes plus the spiral staircase. You made reference to Leica's most famous user - may I ask which camera/lens/lenses you use/travel with?

I admire your use of B&W which really helped focus on the subject. Fantastic photo series and gave me ideas on how I can improve my own travel photos. Thank you for sharing.

Amazing captures of an amazing city, I visit Paris on a regular basis and have never been up the Eiffel Tower, every time I get there, the call of a bistro wins me over. Love your style of capturing people and places, excellent.

You caught the real essence of Paris! The pictures are simply stunning, your reports are a joy to read, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for these amazing photos. For 10 minutes I was able to escape to Paris on what would have been a ordinary working day.

I am wondering how you got the shot of La Giocanda without any crowds? Your timing of many of the other photos is great also.

I queued up quite early for the Louvre, and basically speed-walked to the Mona Lisa as soon as I got in just to see it up close before the crowds arrived.
