Great report ^

This doesn't sound right though:

Was it Qantas business?

Great report, thank you! Really appreciate all the pics and details. That seat does look a little claustrophobic, especially for sleeping in.

I'm confused by your comments about the BA cabin being far more spacious than CX. Are you actually referring to CX Business Class??? With 14 pax stuff into the nose of BA 744 compared to only 9 in a CX 744, "spacious" is the last word that I would use when describing BA First.
This also caught my eye. CX F, especially on a 777 is miles more spacious than BA, especially a 747.

Edit: to OP thanks for TR.

Nice TR. i've found the new BA F good, but nothing spectacular. I do like the modern feel of it but I'd take CX any day and do when i have the option. Caviar for a true international F product is noticeably missing and top level Champagne.

+1. Nice report, but an awful lot of "because I don't really like" or "don't eat" comments leave the reader confused. Do you have dietary restrictions, or just a fussy eater? Pics are great, and the food looks pretty good.

OP doesn't like eggs or chicken, while they are 2 of my dietary staples it hasn't left me confused. She didn't choose the chicken because she doesn't like chicken. I felt she was just giving a detailed explanation of her thought process when choosing the food

Great, TR^. The BA F hard product looks small - or is that just perspective? The food looks great through. Thank you for sharing

You must be new to these here parts. FTers delight in complaining about inflight food.
