Thank you! indeed I wouldn't have had-if not for the early flight, I'd have checked into any hostel at any price for the night!

Great report. As for Ryanair, does it feel claustrophobic traveling with them? You know, because of the non-existent seat pitch and (correct me if I'm wrong) recline-less seats? I've never flown them and I've always wondered.

thanks! flying with Ryanair is quite an experience. They epitomise "Cattle Class". Their 30" seat pitch is just nice for me (6'0") but going by that people taller than me do have problems.

Boarding is a frenzy with people rushing all over the place, taking the "best" seats at the front and back, in the short 2h20 flight to Rome, the meal cart came down thrice, the attendant came down once selling newspapers and magazines (the sun, daily mail, OK magazine and the sorts), once selling scratch cards, once selling smokeless cigarettes...you get the point. Sleep is hard to get in flight, with the reclineless seats and the constant bombardments of the stuff they were selling. You should try it once
