Weekend trip Lhr-CPH/Malmo

Early flight, not with my OH so no problems to wake up (still tired). Taxi from this part of London (north) is the easiest and fastest option at this time of the day and not that expensive. I have yet to try a rush hour trip by taxi to see how long time it takes.

Ok, I know many would say why so much luggage for a SH flight. I had do bring some clothes home including a few suitcases (#4 is inside). I managed to close the one that almost looks as if it is about to burst

Heathrow T5 at this time, 4.55am it is fairly empty. Check-in went smoothly and no problem through security. I cant even remember if I used fast track since there were hardly and people.

Lounge breakfast. Sorry for the very blurry photo, blame the HTC phone. I am not sure if I prefer the British bacon or the American one. Having lived in both countries for a while I guess I get accustomed to.....

Boarding time

CE Breakfast, the usual food for this route. I must say if I was flying to CPH on a weekly basis I would get really sick of the BA English breakfast. Personally I prefer the sweet option I had during my Turin flight.

After landing I took the train over the Bridge. For some of you who watched the TV series the Bridge I can confirm that the train did not stop in the middle and there was no crazy things going on (even if this train sometimes due to delays I heard)

During my trip I also went to Copenhagen for a day. A nice city to visit for a weekend, like in Amsterdam watch out for the cyclist.

The obligatory tourist mission to see the Little mermaid. It is very little and like many I would ask what is the fuzz about.

The newly build opera house (On the Dock Island in the Copenhagen Harbour). Truly amazing, what a roof and you can get an incredible view of the building from the other side of harbour.

The other part of Copenhagen that has slowly been dismantled by the police. Not sure what will happen now. If it was not for the drug use it the reputation might be slightly different

Really nice part of Copenhagen with some lovely pubs and restaurants. There are not the cheapest and I would look in Tripadvisor which are the best ones. We had a Pizza at one of the places and it was pretty bad

In Sweden I spend sometime in Malm. Below is one of the most famous building the Turning Torso (TT). If you ever visit the area, I would recommend to try the cafe next to TT with the most delicious ice-cream (homemade Italian)

Flying back to LHR. Since the route to LCY was cancelled a few weeks ago. Luckily we managed to rebook for this flight to LHR.

OH was with me and we decided to use our PP (thanks to FT and Amex ). We went to the Servisair lounge. I also noticed some people paid to get in. For sure they were up for a surprise. Only one coffee machine worked and no newspapers. For food besides the bread, ham, cheese and pastry nothing else was on offer. If you want to log on Wi-Fi you had to get the password from the desk and I think it stated it expires after 2 hours. Overall impression next time I will try another lounge at CPH. Luckily we were there for only 30 min or so.

EXIT SEAT My new favourite SH seat. Not sure if most agree but I think this is the best seat if I compare to my CE seat. Unless you need to have a bag next to your legs this is perfect.

Still prefer the sweet option over this dry thing (does it classify as a sandwich??) and the horrible juice

Have to end on a POSITIVE note. A region worth visiting and there are plenty of things to do
