I find the Edmonton-Thunder Bay flight on the screen to be 'puzzling'. Wouldn't think there'd be much demand.

Wow, I am impressed with how nice YEG looks from your pictures! Especially the AC club there.

Thanks for the TR of a place that we would usually not be very privy to seeing - as most would not think of doing a TR on a trip like this.

Perhaps you get the award for a TR of the shortest flight?

(Actually, I think I read one recently of a WN flight around LAX just to view "Carmageddon". I suppose that takes the cake.)

Thanks again, Cheers!

A few of us will recall the 737 jet shuttle service between YXD (Edmonton's equivalent of Love Field) and YYC operated by PWA (Pacific Western) and later CP. AC competed with its AirBC regional carrier flying those BritishAerospace 145s. Pure jets were the norm between the two cities, so sad to see it down to a single Embraer a day. During the 70s and 80s, the corridor between Calgary, Edmonton and Ft. Mac was one of the busiest in Canada, even ahead of YYC-YVR. Those were heady days!

But nice to get a glimpse of the YEG MLL. It and YWG are examples of the more comfortable small lounges in the system. YYC is too big and crowded for my liking.

It's really via Winnipeg. I'm sure not too many folks stay on the entire route.
