3 Days in Berlin
I finally got around to transferring my Berlin trip report in electronic format.
"..... Lunch was at the 6th floor food hall of KaDeWe, continental Europe’s biggest department store.. The food hall put Harrod’s in London to shame.. Since I am in Berlin, I figured I’ll try their currywurst.. It is basically a sausage with tomato sauce and sprinkled liberally with curry powder.. There are plenty of sausages to choose from and none of the descriptions were in English.. I simply want a beef sausage and none of the weird ones, like blood sausage or anything that would be considered prank food outside of Germany.. I asked the lady at the counter for a beef sausage but she doesn’t speak English. Because I don’t speak German, I further rambled on what I was looking for in English to no avail.. And then just out of the blue, I uttered “Moo”. And suddenly, we had a meeting of the mind.. Sometimes I marvel at my own eloquence."
Complete report here.

I really like your blog. Those little details you note, makes it a real personal experience. The Supper Club in Amsterdam for instance, wow! I feel like Im right there with you. Same goes for the currywurst.
Im a big fan of going away on city breaks for weekends. And doing it on my own- get to do what I want when I want.
And um, I have to admit, like yourself I find myself smitten with beautiful all the damned time. Im still swooning over the French girl at the Cafe Nero in South Kensington.
